My brother has worked for a coupleconstruction companies here in Calgary (http://www.calfast.com/about.php) and he would totally agree with using the right tape for the job! One very adamant client supplied all his own tape, I guess!

Duct tape

I have been using cheap duct tape for all of my construction needs but after making the switch to "professional" duct tape, I have seen much better results!
